When her mother Anne died, author of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beats J.K. ‘Jo’ Rowling had only just begun writing her famous novels. To her daughter’s abiding regret, Anne never lived to see the boy wizard become a global phenomenon. “She never knew I’d had the idea of my life to date”.
Jo discovers that in the 1930’s her Great Grandfather left England and retired to Maison Lafitte, a quiet town in the outskirts of Paris. He died there on 17th September 1949.
