Brings tears to my eyes; PH reciting Housman and his post recital diatribe – the greatest moment we've had on BBC QT.

FAREWELL!!!!!!!! At least get the spelling right.

'..and I watched it go, I wanted to be on it and I watched it go. I know what I missed. I saw this country depart, as it had been.' big feels for me as a young man

By the way, it’s spelt ‘farewell’. That’ll be the destruction of the education system (or too much immigration)

Speaking as an Australian of pure English-Scottish stock. I must say this is the most beautiful, well produced & sad or tragic video i have ever seen. My grandfather was a Regimental Sergeant Major & WW1 veteran. My father was an officer serving in the SOE & veteran of WW2. Both of them came out to Australia after WW2 & my father married an Aussie farmer's daughter.
I can see the day coming when my son or grand sons will be ANZACS. Fighting on British soil to save what's left of England. My rugby league football team is the mighty St George Dragons. As God wills it.

If England made all that stuff with a much smaller population why the hell does it need an inflating population messing up its environment now?

Thank you for your moving video! As an American proud of his British ancestry, I too mourn the decline of Great Britain. I pray that Britons will remember the glories of their past, re embrace the Christian Faith that helped make her great, and throw off the Leftist multiculturalism that eats away at her like a cancer. God bless you all!

Cheer up, ole chap! The Winds of change bloweth, but it all certainly seems so obviously contrived as to appear unbelievable. Kind of biblical in its origins?
