I really love your channel. Have you ever read Before I Fall?

  2. Arlene Dangerfield says:

Hi I completed reading the Raven King. I agree with your review. Yes it was good and wrapped up some of the story lines. But something seemed missing. I feel let down on a few story lines. What really is happening with the Gray man? Did Henry get to really be a true Raven boy. You see what I mean. Thanks for some great reviews. Arlene in Texas

I went to the library with 4 I wanted. 2 were checked out and 2 they said they didn't have, probably because they were new. I asked if they could order 5 to 1 because that's the one I want to read most and she said they don't have any other books by that author so no. But I did get a couple others off your goodreads. I got bird box and station eleven and can't wait to read them. I also have 4 or 5 on hold now for next time.

  4. Vegan in Washington says:

Great recommendations! I'm going to jump right into a few 🙂

I wonder if your thing with anthologies has anything to do with the fact that the editor doesn't really have to compete to get their story in. Like, they have to become editor, but once they do, they want to put one of their own stories in, no matter what, whereas the other writers have to compete against each other to get into the anthology, at all? Idk.

Also, Every Heart a Doorway sounds amazing!

you better get it girl! 1/2 way there!

I'm planning on reading Exit, Pursed by a Bear this month. I've been hearing pretty good things about it and can't wait. I thought the same about Still Mine by Amy Stuart, it's a standard thriller. I really enjoyed Dangerous Lies. Too bad you didn't.

  8. 3890Leah says:

After seeing your review I chose Still mine for my monthly book club – without realizing it doesn't actually come out until july! I'm so bummed now lol

  9. ReadingMissFroggy says:

Y.S. Lee is a great author, I really enjoyed her Agency series 🙂 I need to read that anthology!

  10. Amy Scott says:

Your wrap-ups are my favourite! I always look forward to them X

  11. Robin Lea says:

What program do you use to edit your videos?:) They always are so beautiful!

  12. Raven J says:

I feel like The Raven King was one of the few series I've read that was really true to itself. A lot of series start out one place and then take a huge left somewhere. I would like to have seen more information about everyone but I can probably say that about 85% of the books I read.

  13. 비아 says:

Your wrap ups are so organised. Such a pleasure to watch. x

  14. A Blackbird's Books says:

You had a great reading month, wow! 🙂 I want to read The Rest of Us Just Lives Here, it sounds so good! I've heard great things about it, haha! So it's great to hear you say such positive things about it.
I also want to start the Raven Cycle at some point, but at the moment, I have soooo many series I still have and want to read. So I'll finish those first.

  15. Jaylah says:

Omg and I thought I had a good reading month reading 5 books…lol congrats!

  16. Edit name says:

I absolutely love the way you set up your wrap ups! It's such a unique way to talk about the books you read and I Wish more people tried to make wrap ups as unique as you do!

  17. Chadwick2287 says:

Looks like you had a great reading month! I absolutely love your videos, you definitely deserve all the subscribers. Your videos are so much better than other big booktubers I watch, thank you for varying your content and making such enjoyable vids!

  18. Scottish Bookworm says:

I completely agree with The Raven King, it just didn't get to the finale for me until like 60% of the way through and I think it needed more development and just more to it.

  19. Chabely L says:

If you liked the short story of Marissa Meyes you should read The Lunar Chronicles by her. It's my fav series of all time. Also I'm a new subscriber so hi 🙂

  20. akaMissFierce says:

I'm so excited to start fresh in May. April was such a blah month for me. Seeing everything you were able to read has made me excited to get back at it!

  21. Alexis Blythe says:

I agree with everything you said about The Raven King, the book was so close to a 5 stars but I felt like certain events/scene weren't given "time" as you put it. I also think there were a few unanswered questions as well as the last 100 pages or so were rushed which left me feeling slight dissatisfied. Overall I really liked the book and I LOVE the series as a whole.

  22. ailey naugle says:

    Omg!!!!!! You are reading goals!!!

  23. Jay G says:

I have Still Mine on my shelf! Can't wait to pick it up now!!

  24. Innes Murray says:

I completely agree about Gayle Forman, I really disliked If I Stay. I now also want to read the Raven Boys 🙂

  25. Priya Books says:

The month has gone so so fast can't believe we are already in May wow!

  26. LunarSkyArt says:

so interessting to see all the stats 🙂 do you always read so many books?

  27. BingeReader says:

Paint by numbers is such a good and awful insult for a book. Good because it really captures the essence of the book, awful because author is going to need some neosporin for that burn!! Oohh Every Heart A Doorway sounds amazing. Great reading month. You are the first person that has made me interested in the Raven Cycle.

  28. Charlie Book Fanatic says:

I love your videos so much! The Rest of Us Just Live Here was my first foray into Patrick Ness' work and I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to read his other books if this was his least popular book.

  29. Booky Lorra says:

A great reading month and a great video.

Awesome reading wrap-up! You read so many books! Can't wait to see what's on your May TBR. I'm definitely picking up that Patrick Ness book.

  31. Lauren Baney says:

have you read if I stay and where she went by Gayle forman? I'll be honest, those are the only Gayle forman books I've ever liked. I always try her books but I never end up liking any of them other than those two.

  32. Ashley O'H says:

I'm really stuck right now, I'm reading hopeless by Coleen Hoover and I'm not very far into but I'm just not loving it. I know you love her and I also know you said hopeless maybe wasn't the best place to start so I'm wondering if I should drop it and move on to a different Colleen Hoover? So far the book feels like maybe I would of liked it more when I was a little younger and hadn't read as many books.

  33. Angharad LateBloomer says:

Beth Revis wrote Across The Universe, you may like that

  34. Nathalia Panesi says:

maybe you could try more magical realism… i know you like a s king, right?
Sarah Addison Allen is a great author too. i love her first 4 books: garden spells, the sugar queen, the girl who chased the moon and the peach keeper

  35. AngieOnigiri says:

What editor do you use? :oooooo

  36. Laurel Moring says:

I'm definitely going to pick up The Rest of Us and Every Heart A Doorway (which on GR says it's #1 of a series!). I also still have The Raven Cycle on my TBR.

  37. Literary Laura says:

I really love your review style!

  38. squibblesreads says:

I need to read 5 to 1! I'm so glad you love thrillers, I HAVE FOUND A FAMILY MEMBER <3
